The Bedepuszta project is about the development of a small, abandoned village in Northern Hungary. The development includes the renovation of houses and infrastructure and the construction of extra facilities for events, conferences, workshops and tourism in general. Prime goal is to create a unique spot for incentive tourism and small events for international guests opening August 2018.
Bedepuszta is a depopulated dwelling at the end of a dead end road, located in a beautiful valley with plenty of wildlife, agricultural activity, forests, meadows and clean air. Our goal is to bring all kinds of projects to the village that will bring new energy and knowledge to the countryside and inspiration to those who join or visit he projects.
Guests are not just visitors, they live in the village, experiencing sunrise and sunset, a campfire under the stars, the ever present panorama and the silence, but at the same time they can enjoy the benefits of modern life: socializing , joining workshops or programs, tasting local food and drinks, watching films, swimming, gaming or reading books from the library.
The concept of Bedepuszta is to combine positive elements of city life (creativity, globalization, technology) with the good things of the countryside (nature, reflection, quietness). The idea behind the Bedepuszta project has two sides. On one side are (potentially) profitable elements like house rental, tourist services, revenues from the bar and events. The most important USP is that the village can be rented out as a whole, which makes it a perfect spot for small events up to 600 people and incentive tourism.
On the other side are non-profit elements like creating work spots for artists. The non-profit elements provide good tools for promotion. Artists will help make the village known to a wider audience and will provide the village with an image of exclusivity. The touristic value of the region where the village is located is mainly based on the beauty of the landscape and the rural feeling. The Bedepuszta project a unique concept with international potential.
